8700 gallons/33,000 liters of jet fuel, into a Canadian stream, and all the downstream watershed for miles

A Provincial Court Judge has ruled that the BC Government and Executive Flight Centre Fuel Services Ltd. will face charges in relation to the spill that occurred July 26, 2013 when a fuel tanker rolled into Lemon Creek, releasing 33,000 litres of A1 jet fuel into the creek and downstream watershed.

The big picture is this, the Canadian govt recently elected a new prime minister who seems to be completely a puppet of the corporations, and the govt has done nothing to hold the trucking company responsible for the environmental damage and pollution caused by 8700 gallons/33,000 liters dumped into the waterway, and finally the citizens got fed up and brought the matter to court.

The toxicity is so bad it killed everything in the downstream area, and a year and a half later, the water in the stream is still 6 times the potable water limit for petrochemicals.
